Our client is  Couture Uniforms, a luxury uniform design company based in West London.  Specializing in creating bespoke uniforms for luxury brands, 5-star hotels, resorts, spas, retail, and corporate service providers worldwide. They aim to deliver exceptional uniform solutions using iconic, creative designs and innovative, yet functional uniforms made with unique, superior-quality fabrics. They are committed to increasing the use of sustainable fabrics and practices in the industry.

They are recruiting for a matt cover for 6 months for a production coordinator – with the right combination of garment production knowledge and IT skills as we are very computerised.

The focus of this role is the fabric sourcing and ordering of materials, monitoring costs and critical path and ensuring all components are ordered for each production. ( They  need good excel and some knowledge of ERP/ PLM systems.

Managing the CMT suppliers is actually a very small part of our role, as we work with very reliable suppliers for many years.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role involving:

  • The sourcing and procurement of all materials required in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring all items ordered are within approved budgets and achieve KPIs for each project.
  • Planning capacity and coordinating production processes with the design team and CMT manufacturers.
  • Logistics planning considering costs and critical paths.
  • Managing new product development and tracking all briefs, samples, and revisions.
  • Fabric development original fabric design, technical specifications and testing of fabrics.
  • Ensuring all materials and production information are updated on ERP database.
  • Communicating and coordinating with the sales, production, and design teams,
  • Preparing weekly updates and ongoing costings on garments.

Key skills and Experience.

  • Graduate with a relevant fashion degree.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role in luxury fashion.
  • Material purchasing experience – luxury sector.
  • Garment construction knowledge.
  • High level of Excel software including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
  • Knowledge of garment costing structures, working with ERP software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Experience in working to a critical path and setting deadlines.

Our client requires this role to be based working full-time from their offices in London. THIS IS A MATT COVER FOR 6 MONTHS STARTING END OF AUGUST till FEBUARY
